Anyone else think that next year Mike Taylor could be a lot like Paulus from Duke?! man the kid is annoying as hell..but good!!!!

Mike Taylor has great talent and poor basketball knowledge...

Paulus has 7 turnovers with time left, shooting under 50%, and has 5 missed free throws. Mike Taylor can hold his own vs those numbers.

Paulus is aweful. He had a HORRIBLE year.

There is no comparison between these two.
Taylor is nothing but a streaky shooter. Poor ball handler, poor passer, exceptionally poor defender.
Paulus is a point guard. Marginal shooter, decent ball handler, decent passer, marginal defender.
I think Taylor is horrible. I think Paulus is bad. In my opinion, Paulus should have gone the football route...he was a big time QB prospect out of HS. There is no way this kid ever makes any money playing basketball.

Don't rag on Taylor too much, he is playing out of position. When point guards arrive next year to take the ball handling out of his hands and he can move to his natural shooting guard he will be better. This is somewhat similar to one of my all time players, Mike Nurse. Believe it or not people ragged on him his junior year and when Tinsley and Horton came and Mike moved to shooting we were all amazed. Mike also had one of my favorite quotes about the Mich St NCAA game, "I didn't comb my hair today because I knew it was going to be a dog fight" or something like that.

Paulus sure did not guard that last shot very well. He had backups behind him and Mike would have jumped much higher in the air than Paulus at that point. Paulus may be smarter but he made a bad mental play oin the last shot to essentially lose the game.
