I have to admit I picked Duke in both my brackets. I was cheering for VCU, but I really didn't think that Duke, even in a down season, would lose in the first round.

I had a funny feeling about that game, just the way that VCU reacted on tv when they saw that they played Duke. I saw it coming, WOOHOO!!

Yeah I had Duke going out in Round 2.
On a side not I strongly suggest not doing your picks after a couple glasses of Glenmorangie. It makes you feel like all your upset picks are genius. (I am finding out they are not) |

Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.

Also JHudd, whenever I see you post, all I can think of is "Fargo" when the girls are being interviewed by Margie, and they say "I'm from Chaska!!" (In a northern Minnesotan accent.)

These brackets hate me. I always go on instinct. And then I do a second one on who should ACTUALLY win. My second one always does better. Maybe I should just stop doing instinct brackets in pools.
