141 - Wrestlebacks - Mitch Mueller will face C.J. Ettelson (UNI)
149 - Wrestlebacks - #11 Cyler Sanderson will face Ryan Adams (ND State)
157 - Championship - #1 Trent Paulson will face Josh Zupancic (Stanford)
165 - Championship - #4 Travis Paulson will face #5 Nick Baima (UNI)
174 - Grant Turner has been eliminated
184 - Championship - #6 Jake Varner will face Joshua Arnone (Cornell)
197 - Championship - #9 Kurt Backes will face Nick Roy (Michigan)
HWT - Wrestlebacks - David Zabriskie will face Rashard Goff (Cleveland St.)

Do we even have a chance at first with Minnesota wrestling so well?

Depends how the Minny wrestlers did tonight.

HWT - Wrestlebacks - David Zabriskie will face Rashard Goff (Cleveland St.) Well, crap. Matches I'm not fond of are:
Fanthorpe/Flores
Mueller/Ettelson
Paulson/Baima
With Mueller's injury, and knowing Ettelson's style, I'm not sure Mueller will place. Flores is a solid wrestler, and Fanthorpe has to wrestle at the top of his game to win this one. Baima, I know the name, and know he's good. Paulson needs to wrestle with intensity there.

At least two are as close as you can get to locks for championships (I don't think Dustin Schlatter or Cole Konrad have lost all year, and both are defending National Champions)
Long story short, as Cyclone62 put it earlier, we're going to need some help.

My brother said he looked like he was sick. I felt bad for him--but happy for Backes/ ISU.

With Minny's coaching staff, Askren would most likely still be in the Championship bracket. I'm not convinced of Mizzou's coaches. Too many of their wrestlers choke (Backes/Askren). Minny, Iowa State, and Iowa have three of the best coaching staffs in collegiete wrestling, IMO. I actually saw Askren having the possibility of an early exit, and not placing because of his coaches.

As long as either we, or Mizzou are close enough to Minny. To do that, we NEED bonus points with our victories.

I'd rather have caught up to Minnesota by the time the Finals are taking place, but I don't get everything I want usually.
