J'Mison Morgan

Anyone heard anything about this guy? On rivals, he is listed as a prospect for us in the class of '08. 6'10" and 270lbs. Watched a video of him but wasn't greatly impressed. Close to the same size as Maric, but doesn't move as well IMO.

But we do need a body of that size. Who knows, it's too hard to tell if a kid can play from a 30 second clip. But he is ranked 89th, I believe overall. And the 11th ranked Center.

This kid is a stud. I googled his name and found that he led his team to a state championship in Texas. We would be lucky to get him. I know some said that he was slow after watching the video, but he seems pretty powerful to me. McD would be the perfect coach for him because he is so good with big men and his style of play would fit a player like Morgan. He probably wouldn't do well in a system that had a fast tempo. Players with bodies like that do well in systems were half court offenses are set up. I think he would really fit in. I heard McD say on Deace's show a few days ago that Thompson would be on scholarship for '08.' Does this give us just on scholarship for '08' then. Morgan would be a nice addition to that class. I think I would rather have him than Negedu.
