Just out of curiousity, were you complaining about the lack of "coaching" for Curtis when we went to the NCAA's his sophomore season?

No Kirk, didn't you watch the Oscar's??? Al Gore even said it, Wayne Morgan caused global warming. Bush said that Wayne was responsible for how bad the Iraq thing is. He sold the uranium to North Korea so they could build a nuclear weapon.

If it wasn't him, then it had to be Barney Cotton.

Curtis made a good decision trying to get picked. His style wouldn't go with coach GMac. I hear ya.

Wayne Morgan shouldn't be allowed to be head coach of any level above pee wee, just like VandeVelde shouldn't be allowed to hire coachs.

While I was ****** at the time, I think it was for the best for Wayne and all his ilk are gone. Starting fresh is a good thing.

Let's see will is on roster for one of top teams in NBA learning far more from the guys he is playing with/behind over much longer season and bringing home a little under 1/2 million a year. Yeah...bad decision.

A tremendous, tremendous post...although I thought it was all Coach Mac's fault the last 7 years or so.

Blalock is definitely in a nice situation. Detroit has huge questions at the point guard postition. Billups is a free agent and Lindsay Hunter is near retirement. Blalock could have benefited from a season under McDermott but I don't think he was ever a first round pick, due mostly to his lack of size.

Love how Morgan gets thrown under the bus again in this thread. :( He has a 20 win season and an NCAA tourney win in 3 years but McCarney has conference records of 0-8 and 1-7 within the last 4 seasons and that's "OK."

Boy if there was ever an apple to oranges comparison that one is it.

Balocks making money playing B-Ball. Yeah it would have been nice to have had him back, but I can't fault him for going pro.
