Where's the Cinderella?
I don't know about anybody else, but I thought there has been a lack of upsets in this tournament and no real cinderellas so far. This is the first time in a while that no double-digit seed has made it to the sweet sixteen (unless I forgot one). 11-seeded Winthrop beat 6-seeded Notre Dame, but many had predicted Winthrop would win. No real upset there, I guess.
There has been some close games so far and we still got a lot of tournament to go, but the lack of upsets disappoints me. What are some opinions on the tourney so far?

First time since 1995 that a double-digit seed hasn't been in the Sweet 16...

Re: Where's the Cinderella?
The tournament was boring for me Thursday and most of Friday except the Duke vs VCU game. UNLV could be the cinderella, but otherwise it's heavy weights.

Yeah it was amazing that Dickie V was so giddy despite Duke losing, but then hearing his explanation about how all those traditional powers are still alive so there aren't any "easy second round games" for the favorites made it more apparent. What a toolbox.

“I’m just glad I have Homan as my bodyguard,” Eustachy joked. “If I ever make it real big and get to drive a limo everyday, he’ll be driving it. I thought he came off the bench like somebody was stealing his cow or something.” http://blogs.dmjuice.com/?cat=43 -
Re: Where's the Cinderella?
It has taken a lot of the charm of this time of the year. I would assume that CBS, and their paychecks are pretty pleased with the way that things have worked out, that makes the NCAA happy.

Re: Where's the Cinderella?
Highest seed in the Sweet 16 is 7 seed UNLV.

Re: Where's the Cinderella?
Yeah and I just really do not see UNLV getting passed Oregon in the next round. USC as a five seed could be the lowest seed that can get to the elite 8 and they will have to play like they did against texas to get that far.

Ohio State??? They upset Xavier...or at least I'm sure that Xavier's fans were upset after that thing was over...
