There you go
There you go
thank you jon
Mike put his own name through the mud by committing these acts....we're just discussing it.
Thanks Jon, I really like what you do on KXNO and Cy-Hawk Talk. And yes, sometimes it's difficult for me to say that.
WHO CARES ABOUT THE OWI!!! IT DOESNT MATTER NOW DOES IT?!?!
anyway, great interview Jon, thanks again for the link
I'm going to the gym to burn off this steam. I leave you with one question though...
What image do you want ISU to portray? One of integrity and values or one that will win at any cost?
Remember, we had a coach fired for stupidity while drinking, are the players not held to that same standard?
Whether the punishment will fit the crime in this case is yet to be determined, but I think (if all the allegations are true) MT will need to be let go, if only for the reason of showing others that the new regime will not tolerate this. (I have little sympathy for someone who messes up, gets a generous second chance, then promptly messes up again. If one is not smart enough to straighten up for two years of paid-for education and all the perks that come with being a college athlete, then he probably shouldn't be at said university in the first place.)
It's a tough question. If I am understanding correctly, even though it was alcohol related, he essentially received a traffic ticket in Wisconsin.
Now, he gets drunk at someone's apartment, and vandalizes property. Both of these happen in a one year period, so we see a possible pattern of behavior happening here.
We have a men's basketball coach who has been lauded for being disciplined. He has already suspended the person in question, claiming that it was for academic reasons (which may be true). At this point, Taylor has been suspended from the team, pending any legal action.
Well my take is that McDermott is letting the legal system take it's course (saves him from having to make a tough decision now). At the end of the day, I have to believe that Taylor will be found guilty. That is where the tough decision has to be made. I think we have seen the end of Mr Taylor in a Cyclone uniform.
Whoa Whoa Whoa Jeremy... what's this about a dirty program??? Come on man, regardless of what happens in the Taylor situation, we are the furthest thing from a dirty program and you know it. I understand you're a little upset right now but seriously. I'm assuming having the contacts that you have, you are aware of our last coaching staffs dealings? Please don't use their attributes to describe the current staff. The word dirty has no business being thrown out right now regarding Greg or our basketball program, plain and simple, ESPECIALLY when we don't know ALL of the facts in the Taylor situation at this point. When the dust settles, then we can accurately judge, IMO.
He never stated we have a dirty program. However, allowing this type of stuff would be us heading in that direction.
