This might seem trivial, but has anyone visited the Cyclone's athletic page on Wikipedia lately? Pretty poor. Check out our rivals on the river for comparison. I don't want to judge everything that ISU has by Hawkeye standards, but c'mon. Someone with the knowledge of Cyclone football history could put together a decent entry. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iowa_St...lones_football http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iowa_Hawkeye_Football | | |

It is being worked on, just let me know what you want to see up there, I have added all-conference basketball players and the new coaching staff

If you could take out the loss to Hampton in the tourney that would be great dude. Also put something in there about having a very loyal fanbase that is nationally envied. Might as well make it a marketing piece for the university.

the prob with that site is that hawk fans can go to it and mess it all up
| Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative. ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other." |

I think we need written history up there. All we have is charts, and I believe that is needs something that can be read.

Yeah, Cringer can really write a good romantic novel. They get a little too descriptive at times but he can really paint the picture in your mind.

I'd like to see a written history. Not many people outside of the ISU faithful know about the contributions Pop Warner, Earl Bruce & Dan McCarney have made to the program. A section about the legendary Pete Taylor would be great, with a link to that Rushin article in SI a few years ago ( http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/ins...d_space_0317/).
And of course write ups about the great skill players throughout the years. The Davis brothers, Jack Trice, Marv Seiler, Sage Rosenfels, Seneca Wallace and Ennis Haywood all deserve recognition.

I wrote a table for the 2007 schedule to replace the bullet points there were there before.
On a side note, I discovered that Colorado's school colors are silver and gold! They were chosen because Colorado is rich in precious minerals. Black isn't an official color, not even an "official" accent color- they simply started using it after they realized that silver and gold didn't look good together on uniforms. You learn something new every day...

I'm not sure what you're saying. The Telephone Trophy is the matchup between Iowa State and Mizzou, and that's also what the schedule says. I don't think there's anything incorrect there...
