I heard today that Cory McIntosh is transfering and with Mike Taylor probably off of the team, does anyone know if we now have some more scholarships available for new recruits? Another big man would be a big boost. Maybe we can steal an Iowa recruit.

I said the same thing in a different thread! Maybe we would still have a chance with Hamga if he does graduate early and get into a college by next year!

I didn't mean MT getting kicked off the team, wouldn't we have one more scholarhip to give right now if we kept AT off scholarship next year with Corey transfering?

Yes we would. The thread creator mentioned MT getting the boot though. However, unless GMac saw this coming a while ago, and does something with it now, Thompson will probably be on a schollie next year.

As much as it sucks to see players leave our team, it is good to see them pursue their best interests. Thankfully now this will allow Thompson to recieve his scholarship as I am sure he has worked hard and deserves it.

if Gmac can get Staiger to help on hamga we could use c-macs schollie on him and then have a beast starting lineup next year.

What position is AT? Couldn't he have a chance to bump off either CJ, Jiri, or Rhashon? I heard he was tall, but I don't really know.

We have to start graduating some players. The NCAA Satisfactory Progress rule is going to cost us some scholarships in the future if we don't.
