Was that not a shot-clock violation against Kansas? He was in the air, but the ball was still in his hands as the buzzer sounded.... I am befuddled. |
All work and no play makes me a dull boy. |

The refs were afraid of the booing.

I happened because they are Kansas, if the refs don't help them then they will probably lose to a Mid-Major for the 3rd straight year.

Dude, actually I find it ironic that in Cali, with UCLA waiting in the wings, Rush, Chalmers, and Wright all get two fouls in the first 12 minutes. SIU finally gets Faulkner with two, but the way they play they should have more.
And A & M is getting fouled out as well. We had a cut away to the Steve Alford story here in NE IA, so I never saw if it got evened out at all.

Kansas is tightening up. They are in trouble.
With all of that talent, they need to remember that they can just physically overwhelm SIU. If they don't, and soon, they are going to lose.

I have Kansas losing to UCLA as well, so if they lose tonight, it won't be any skin off my nose. I wish the ATM game was later, and the tOSU game was now... I have a feeling they're going to be getting a beat-down.

So Ill. just got jobbed out of 2 points, so KU has gotten a 4 point advantage from the zebras so far.

Is it me, or is Kansas just plain playing stupid? They keep thinking they can out-athleticism on these players and they keep turning the ball over.

And my god I have not seen a team play defense like the Salukis in years. It is Awesome to behold.

It's Kansas. Playing a Mid-Major... What did you expect, a Kansas win?

I just want our beloved cyclones to show some of this defensive intensity. McDermott can make it happen.
