I know, I know its too early to tell, but what fun is it if we cant discuss it.
With Corey M. transferring, and Taylor's status up in the air at this point; who do you feel will be the starting five next year. **Remember Alex Thompson is definately in the mix**

I'll go with... MT (or DD if he's gone), Wes, Jiri, Rhashon/Thompson, and... Garrett maybe. (Note: Basketball positions are basically greek to me; I have close to no idea how they work.)

Clark, Wesley, Jiri, Taylor and a guard to be named later.
I know that many have assigned Rahshon to the bench, but he's a 3 year starter at this point and I won't bench him.

I agree, our team begins with Clark.....the team feeds/learns from our wiley veteran. And GMac has said on numerous occasions that our defense is completely different with him on the floor. I've got a feeling he is going to raise some eyebrows next year, perhaps even nationally. That said here are my early picks for starting 5 in the first game of the year.
Dodie
Taylor
Clark
WJ
Jiri
(Garrett, Brackins, Thompson, and CJ see plenty of early minutes with perhaps a starting role come mid-season)

Taylor, Clark, Garret, Jiri, and Wesley
Jiri is a pretty solid post player at this point but i think brackins will be seeing a lot of playing time

do you think Wesley stays at his position even after Clark is gone?

Wes will move to his natural 3 spot, which will inevitably kick Rahshon out of the starting lineup. Rahshon can be a very good player for us next year, but I don't see him starting.
Diante/Brister
Mike
Wes
Craig
Jiri (or possibly Alex)
That's a good starting five.

Thats a gutzy predictioin, but I respect that. Clark not starting, who would have seen the day.
I dont feel this would happen as he is a solid play composure wise on the floor. He might not be a dominant offensive threat, but you cant forget his deffensive abilities. When Clark is gone, Wesley should move back to his natural position. I meand it really only makes sense right? Then Brackins and/or Corey Johnson can shine.

The nice thing is that well have depth on out team next year, so it doesnt really matter who starts. Our best players wont have to play 38 minutes a game in order for us to win.

1) garrett
2) taylor
3) johnson
4) thompson
5) hubalek
with all the good things that mac has said about thompson and the fact that he may be playing w/o a scholy, no way he hasn't been essentially promised a starting spot. is dunson quick enough/ enough of a creator to be the team's starting pg? i don't think so, i see him more as a spot-up shooter off the bench, a kantrail horton type.

Corey Johnson may not be quick enough or tall enough with his current jumpoing ability. If we end with just defenders on the court, it will be a long season. Sorry to say Rahshoin and Corey are only adequate backup players. Same for Dodie when you look at physical and aggressive Big 12 guards. No wonder McD receuited another guard.
