ACTUALLY, he was stoned, and thought that that "cup" was an actual bouquet of flowers, and was trying to give whom he thought, was his grandmother, a gift.

haha, yeah... when i listened to it on the news it came out as. Keller yelled at an elderly lady and threw a dixie cup... i guess i missed the "And" part LOL

Not really. I am just poking fun at a ridiculous siutuation.

I just think it is so stupid to throw a cup at an old lady's car when you are starting spring training and trying to win the starting job that they want to give to you. Sounds immature for a high level qb. Could you imagine Bret doing the same?

This reminds me of a game I was given tickets to 5 or 6 years ago when NU came to town. As fate would have it, the free tickets sat me right in the middle of a bunch of Fuskers. Right behind me were 3 50-60 yr old ladys who knew more about the NU practice squad than I knew about our starters at the time. This was something that simply amazed me

Anyhow, this is what my imagination is telling me what really happened after listening to those women that cold snowy day. The elderly lady parks her car, and when she climbs out she see's one of the NU Golden children King Keller and yells at him to throw her the bomb. After looking around, the only object that remotely looks like a football was the Dixie cup. He picked it up and threw it to her. She was not too impressed with the throw since it didn't have a tight spiral like she expected. She quickly walked up to him, hit him over the head with the cane and told him to "get your *** in the gym and pump some iron so you can put some muscles on those arms and shoulders you lazy little bastard". He blows her off.

So, as a result to his lack of care in her little coaching, she calls the cops and fabricates the story that has hit the news to teach him a lesson for not listening to her to what was her NU given right. Be a volunteer coach of the day...

If you want real comedy check out the free board comments on the husker rivals site. A few are saying SK should have just walked away but others range from the woman doing a publicity stunt, everyone has been in this situation and would do the same, the media and cops are out to get all huskers, assassinating Keller's character, and a nice discussion about what the bible says about this. I can't believe I live in this state......
