Ofensive Line

I was looking back to our OL recruits that should now be approaching their senior year (with a redshirt). That class included Tjaden, Cook, Schobert, Schmeling was a greyshirt, etc.. It looks like that class was a complete bust. Schmeling is the only one that is panning out. This had a big influence on our problems with the OL.

I heard that Tjaden and Schobert decided they were done after last fall. They would have been seniors. Were they that bad? Or just not dedicated? Or were they not going to make an impact this coming year and said heck with it?

I guess Brant was pretty good. I remember Mac making the comment that we had signed our Offensive Line of the future. Guess he was pretty accurate. I just thought he meant it in a good way.

If by "that bad" you mean not good enough to play then yes that is what they were.
