Sully Buttes Wins!!

I'm sure it was bigger news in Sully Buttes, but, it is a good sign for the Cyclones. I don't know how Fennelly finds and identifies the kids who years ahead will become D-1 players, but, Alexis Yackley seems to be a good one. Great family culture, work ethic, outside shooter, penetrates and defends. A likely Miss Basketball, she's probably a good student and cute, too. Hopefully the summer leagues will get her some national notice.

I was at least partially intrigued by the growing list of home towns and schools for the team - Sully Buttes, Kickapoo, Pelican Rapids, Canberra and Barrett, to name a few of those places one is not likely to drive through on the way to someplace else. Of course such places as Roseau and Osseo have been good to us in the past.
