Did we miss a Division 2 gem?

Just saw this video of the last few minutes of the national championship game for division 2. If this were division 1, it'd probably be talked about for weeks. However, I haven't seen even a mention on ESPN. Take a look:

If that were Division 1, that would be talked about for years. That's an amazing comeback.

I saw the game start to finish, those guys were not gun shy, they were puttin up the shots left and right, what a great game. I heard an Iowa kid is going to Winona State next year, any truth to that?

Wow. I don't even know where Barton is, but I found myself practically cheering as I watched that video. Now THAT is basketball!

I watched the end of that game and was going nuts myself, and I had never even heard of Barton. It was on national TV on CBS, and it was mentioned on ESPN's Sports Reporters yesterday morning. It was featured on Sportscenter's Top Ten Plays as well. I'll be curious to see what The Sports Guy had to say about it.

That was the greatest end to a game I have ever seen. I liked the fact that there was not 20 timeouts in the last minute!

It's too bad D2 and D3 sports don't get more press because there are some outstanding athletes at some of those schools (obviously not on the whole that they have at D1's) My brother coaches football at Winona State so I've been hearing all about this game. Most people probably don't know that at the time they had a 50-some game win streak and had won the last 2 D2 titles. That makes Barton's comeback win all the more impressive.
