It's Hilarious!!

First, Iowa gets permission to talk to Pearl. Rome goes on and on for 5 minutes what a great hire this would be.

Now, He finds out Pearl is not intersted. "Hey Iowa, I take it all back. Glad I just spent 5 minutes on that!!"

For a guy I really can't stand to listen to, Rome has impressed me twice this week. First talking about Alfraud's feathered hair and being a fallen star and now this. At least he has the Hawks pegged

Don't go weak on your hawk hating! Rome is just doing exactly what we all want. He makes off colored opinions so we can go get all hot under the caller and argue. I personally get more upset when Iowa beats us.

You're right. I always thought the Ferentz thing made him sound dumb but everything else he has said about EIU has been good.

Rome is halarious. Love the emails. Hates the Hawks. Great Pro athlete interviews. Good stuff. I used to hate him, but when you listen daily its pretty funny stuff.

Iowa needs to get real. Next we'll hear they've talked to Donavan, Pitino, and Bobby Knight. Actually, they deserve a jerk like Knight- but in the end just settle for Mr. vanilla-- Dana Altmann.
