Looks like ISU's plane flew to Iowa City yesterday, Picked up Barta and brought him back to Ames, such that he could ask Pollard how to hire a coach. Now this morning, he is once again borrowing our plane to fly to Omaha in order to beg Altman to leave Creighton.

Altman is all the talk in Omaha - to take it to the next level after his KState stint. Dana never talks so sportsguys do his talking for him. He also is good developing big men. PJ Stinnett is now available to re-sign....

I get the feeling that Gary Barta is going from one good coach to another and being turned down. He hopes to hit payola before the next signing period 13 Apr. If Dana turns him down, something is astray.
Will big name recruits want to play in Iowa City in the Odd Eleven?
If the ISU plane is flying anywhere, it should be to New Mexico to bring Alford back to Iowa City. I'd donate money to cover that.
