ISU Spring Game tailgate info request

So are the rules the same for tailgating at the spring game as any other game?

My group and I have never been to spring game before but we are excited! Game starts at 1:00 pm I believe. What time do people show up? I do not want to be the only guy with a beer in my hand at 10:00 am you know.

Divide your weight by 10, that is the number of beers you must drink at a tailgate. That is the only rule. Ohh and there must be some sort of dead animal on your grill, and no veggies or fruit are allowed.

Great, I have been doing it wrong all these years and dividing by 20. CRAP, all the beers I could have drank

If I ever drink my weight divided by 10 in beer, then you will all know about it and know exactly which guy I am in the parking lots! 19 beers would most likely get me rolling pretty well, or maybe it would bring me to a complete halt...

That is only 3 beer an hour for your 6 hr tailgate... there is no time limit...

Brian you are a genius. The divide by 10 rule may be the best formula I have ever heard. I can handle 22 on a game day when the boy is not with me, I drop back to dividing by 18 on "kids included" tailgates.
