Altman does not want the Iowa job. This info comes from a very good source.

I somehow doubt the source...I do believe that Altman doesn't want the job, but if you are from omaha and follow the bluejays, you know that altman doesn't talk about jobs ever...when he decides to go, or not to go, there will be an official statement

Let's just say that Psychedclone may have some better sources than the rest of us.

He probably doesn't want the job because at this point he is a fall back candidate. I'm sure if Iowa would have contacted him late last week/earlier this week he would have been very receptive.

honestly, i doubt dana will ever leave...i went to ISU, i love the cyclones, and i always will...that said, bluejay games are unreal...it was amazing when i moved here and starting going to the games. i never thought in a million years that a school with 5000 student would put 16,000+ fans in an arena for every game...it's nut. dana is the king of this town, he moved here to be close to his family, and i doubt he will ever leave.....plus, creighton is a private school and no one has any idea how much he makes or what to shoot for when making an offer....word is that it is well over a million a year

CBS just said he'd interview at Iowa this coming week during their Final 4 show.

Oh, well take all this thread back then. We will check to see if his Creighton house goes on the market. WM could be his recruiting assistant.

He has been mentioned for much bigger jobs in the past, and has not left. If he was a ladder climber, he would have left before now, and why take a program like that when he could have easily skipped a step and landed somewhere better. | |

He will not leave Creighton. PJ Stinnett and Kenton Walker are coming into play.

I have been told Altman's wife now has her parents in Omaha, and she has said she won't leave, so Altman may never leave Omaha at this point.....time will tell
