OT: Blades Of Glory

I just got back from this movie, and my stomach is sore from laughing so hard. Anybody else seen it?

No, but only because I'm saving up every spare penny I have for tickets to the Stone Sour concert at Val-Air in May.

Also, it doesn't appeal to me as much as the Transformers movie, and FINALLY, The Simpsons Movie!

Save us tonight, the last hope for all of us,
Light-years gone by, we're still holding on,
Save us tonight, a star shines in all of us,
Far beyond our lives, still our glory lives on.

I'm pretty anxious to see it. Anything with Will Arnett in it is good enough for me. I've been looking forward to the movie since I first heard the title about a year ago.

Blades of Glory was hilarious. Funnier than Ricky Bobby, but it's no Anchorman.

Talladega Nights wasn't even funny. That was the only movie I have ever fallen asleep at in my life.

You evidently don't have kids? Try sitting through the fifth run through Rugrats in Paris or Sharktales.

You're right - there are way more lines that became classics in "Anchorman" than there probably will be "Blades of Glory", and the ensemble cast was awesome. I think their actual skating sequences were my favorite - "Don't Want to Miss A Thing" was so incredibly appropriate.

Great and funny movie, I was laughing the entire time. Will Ferrel is great and so is Heder.

Did Will do a better acting job than he did as an overgrown elf?

Not to pull off topic here, but it will; Stone Sour rocks. Saw them 4-5 years ago at Toad Holler. Index Case, some other bad, and then them. Stood in a long a$$ line to get in and waited for ever for it to start, but it was great.

As for the movie, I would have to wait till video. I dont get to movies much, but when I do I usually put my money towards more appealing movies. Not to judge a book by its cover, but these type of movies dont draw me in like the others; Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!

TMNT more appealing? Sorry, man - only if they got Vanilla Ice to do the soundtrack again.

Fond memories; wait who needs memories when you got the movie! One and two; no third though, that just got weird.
