Romar to Iowa??

According to the Iowa fans calling local Des Moines sports radio yesterday, Fat Boy Majerus will be annouced tomorrow. That would be a media circus. I liked what Lute said in todays DSM fish wrap. Basically, he reported that Majerus would be a mistake.

Sorry, but if Romar is a fan of 'rainbow stickers' then Seattle is definitely the place for him. Way more rainbow stickers on cars per capita here, trust me. Iowa City may be pretty "happy" but it's got nothing on Seattle.

I guess the big candidate popular w/ most Sqwak fans is B.J. Armstrong. They're already singing his praises. I told my brother-in-law he'd be a horrible coaching candidate (no experience), and he was quick to defend him w/ "How Alford left the program we've got nothing to lose." I quickly shot back "What? Alford finished 4th in the conference last year. You honestly want to bring a coach that very well could lead you to an 0-16 dead last finish in the Big 10?"

He was pretty much quiet after that...
