On my dish (in the Ames area) it is blacked out on ESPN2. I am getting it on Fox Sports North.

Re: Twins Game?
I'm guessing basic mediacomm cable doesn't carry it. Damn blackouts!

If you're in the FSN North market area, you can't get it. That is my guess anyways.

Re: Twins Game?
Yeah, it's being blacked out in this area because we are in the Twins "market". This is really getting old. I don't get FSN North and yet the games are still blacked out. It's really frustrating. I've considered subscribing to MLB.TV, but even then I wouldn't be able to watch the Twins games because they'd be blacked out.
I for one was pretty ****** when I tuned to espn2 at 6 only to find espnews. I'd been looking forward to watching the game all week.

Re: Twins Game?
For those that didn't catch the game it was pretty good. Santana was smoking the 1st 3 innings then seemed to lose his change up and gave up 4 runs through 6 innings. Morneau was tearing the cover off the ball for the whole game, he and Hunter hit back to back HR's in the 2nd inning. They scored the rest of their runs in typical Twins fashion. Some small ball with an extra base hit here and there. Also Rondell White had one heck of a catch that might have saved the game in the 5th. Hopefully he can stay healthy for the year. It's a good year to be a Twins fan and look for great things from them.

Re: Twins Game?
Yeah pretty mad up here in MN too, It was on ESPN2HD but I got to watch it on crappy WB/UPN/MY29 or whatever channel that is that my TV doesn't normally turn to. I do feel more sorry for you in IA that don't get our local channel or FSN North and still get hurt by the blackout, but it still sucks to not be in HD here. Great game though!

Re: Twins Game?
Get either Dish Network or DirecTV with the sports pack (all of the regional sports networks) and you'll get FSN North in addition to FSN Midwest and Comcast SportsNet.

Unfortunately, Mediacom doesn't allow you to get the fox sports channels. And right now, I can't get a dish due to my location. The only thing you can do is keep calling Mediacom and request that they offer Fox Sports.

Wrong. FSN North is the only channel not included in the sports pack. I added the package last week under this impression but for some reason FSN North is not included, yet all other FSN's from around the country are.

When I had Dish Network, FSN North wasn't blacked out for me. I missed last night's Twins game on FSN North, but, in my short time with DirecTV, Wild and T-wolves games haven't been blacked out for me.

Re: Twins Game?
DirecTV. It's not just games blacked out. They don't include FSN North in the sports package.
