Just 1 question:
Who the heck is Bill Simmons?
Nevermind. I found his mini-bio:
Bill Simmons, "The Boston Sports Guy", first gained notoriety as a freelance sports columnist with his own website on AOL. Later, he was added to the roster of ESPN's "Page 2" columnists and propelled the page and himself to widespread popularity. He was recruited as a writer for "Jimmy Kimmel Live" (2003) based on that work.
I this Bill needs to understand that LE has his 2nd chance and won 20(*) games in Conference USA. Going to Holy Cross right now would be a step in the opposite direction from Southern Miss.
* very weak schedule, but 20 wins is 20 wins.
Do you have a direct Link???
Very funny writer. It's not like he's centering his article around Eustachy. If he had mentioned wanting a coach like Bobby Knight who would choke his players to get his point across, would you be calling for him to mention all the success and good things he has done. It kind of derails his whole article if he goes off on a side note about the qualifications of the coach. Eustachy is just in there to get a laugh.
I found it darts.

Thanks. I used to like Simmons, but ESPN the Magazine got pretty stale.
Simmons is awesome. The digs at Larry are not that bad. He is actually writing the story encouraging his alma mater to cheat to win. ala Ric Flair. It's a joke.
