Lobo had a solid season at Auburn. Wayne was just fine for the most part. Lopes and McLain were jokes. All things considered, we are lucky to be where we are today.

    That's quite the shortlist.

And if what you mean about Wayne Morgan being fine he has 2 NBA caliber players on his team and we get the #10 seed in the Big 12 tournament in a weak Big 12 then I could see that. Great guy, great recruiter, but he is no head coach.

BVDV tanked about every major decision he was responsible for.

I don't know...those NIT doubleheaders were pretty amazing (note the sarcasm). Plus it should be noted that Lebo has zero NCAA appearances at Auburn in his four years there.

Can add Altman to that list, he turned us down too but at least he's had some success. Not sure but did we at least talk to Tom Crean too?

Bruce definately did not pick the creame of the crop when he replaced LE.

at the time he wa looking at McClain, Wyo was pretty competitive, having just won the MWC ('02) outright, and made it to the 2nd round of the NCAA tourney by upsetting ESPN-darlings Gonzaga.... and McClain is an Iowa native I believe....
I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.

At the time I would have been happy with Lebo. My only concern was that if he took the job it would be as a stepping stone to an ACC job in the future.
