Re: New Southpark
If I taught 6th grade, I would come out of the school year with less students, and more bodies in my backyard than when I started the year. I've seen those kids, they're absolutely insane! You sir, are a braver man than I.
Kyle, you're going to have to kill me.

Kyle, you're going to have to kill me. You just gotta take one day at a time and NEVER let them get under your skin.
That and I remind myself every hour of every day that the good kids far out weigh the bad ones. -But the bad ones give you better stories to tell.
P.S. Cartman can never know about this -

St Peter Rabbit ... double nice, a play on the davinci code, also a cheesey comedy Didn't mean to come off high and mighty, I generally love shows like this; family guy, aqua teen, etc. But I really liked south park when the show was about the characters and not the current events...there's a lot of dead time in between laughs for me when I watch it compared to the older episodes. Parker and Stone don't wanna make the show anymore but are contractually obligated to, and in my eyes it's fairly obvious.

Where did you hear this? I never knew that.... I dunno, I like political/news stuff, so Ive been really into the newer episodes than some of the older ones. IMO, the entire second season was trash, but after that, it was great. First season was just alright for me, but Family Guy... I got into it at first, then... I just started having apathy after I figured out that their "jokes" had nothing to do with the story, which bothered me.

Re: New Southpark
I own most of the seasons on DVD and they talk about how they 'thought' that they would get canceled after the first season. But I too had yet to hear that they didn't want to make any more.
Any links that point the other way would be interesting to read.
Not trying to insult or call you a liar or anything like that, just that I too hadn't heard that yet.

Re: New Southpark
The only thing I heard that would be close to them not wanting to do the show anymore is that they loved writing and directing movies, and that South Park was hard on them to do when they were doing Team America. I think they said that next time they make a movie, they'll stop doing the show for a while probably, but I'm not sure.

Re: New Southpark
The problem with tonight's episode is that it is nothing new. It is basically a rehash of things they've already done--see the Scientology episode, the Super Adventure Club episode, etc. This whole "secret of Easter" thing isn't really new, and the episode wasn't that funny. While I did enjoy ninjas vs. easter bunnies, and laughed a few times, for the most part it just wasn't that good.

even the episode where they find the guy frozen for 3 years, and have to send him to DSM so he can be back in his time?

I thought that was season 3 or 4. Anyway, that episode is decent, nothing to get excited about.

Re: New Southpark
FAMILY GUY rerun on cartoon network... just played the episode were the guys are playing "I Never" ... this is funny no matter who you are - funny enough for 10 episodes ... I'm laughing so hard I can't type ...
Peter: "I never ... gave a reacharound to a spidermonkey while reciting the pledge of alligence"
Quagmire: "Oh come on!!" (drinks)

Re: New Southpark
Alright, I think I figured out why the Family Guy writers/directors aren't good. They just made a joke about "leg implants" and that Joe couldn't use them because the person he got them from was a paraplegic as well.
Wow, and just when I thought stupid people couldn't act any dumber than they have previously....

Wow, and just when I thought stupid people couldn't act any dumber than they have previously.... yes,way to go holmes - of course, because fact-checking and definitions-of-terms are big components of slapstick humor ...
