    Carr chooses Carolina over Seattle, Seneca still #2

    Quite interesting that Seattle was looking at a backup QB. Anyone have an idea as to what was behind it? I know we have a few Seattle folks on here.

    I'm betting it was one of two things.

    - Seattle wanted to get a backup QB to free up Seneca so they could use him elsewhere on offense.

    or

    - Seattle wanted to bring in a new backup QB and trade Seneca for some value.

    Thoughts?

    Holmgren has been very open about finding a backup QB, so he can feel more comfortable putting Seneca on the field at another position like kick returner or wide receiver. Until now, Seneca has been his only other QB capable of running the offense.

    I've read that in the past, yet haven't seen anything about it since Seneca started a few games last season. Have a link to any recent stories?
