Lewis Black

Lewis Black hit the nail on the head tonight. He flunked Econ because it was at 8am. He continues to say that there is NOTHING that you can learn out of one blood-shot eye. This man is brilliant! Are you listening Dr. Geoffrey?

All work and no play makes me a dull boy.

Black will be at the Des Moines Civic Center next Saturday night (April 14) at 8:00. Looks like tickets are $40-45.

I had calculus at 8:00 AM on one of the Upper Floors of Beardshear. It totally sucked, especially when you had to walk there in January & February.

I didn't catch it earlier tonight, but LB said: "After flunking the second test, I grabbed my professor by the throat and screamed, 'What the f**k are you teaching this ***t at this ungodly hour?? Are you trying to keep it a secret??!?!?'"

Lewis Black is freaking awesome. I watched his special tonight and was laughing so hard I could hardly breathe. He's got a lot of good stuff on youtube too. Absolutely brillant.

Some People see things as they are and say why? I dream things that never were and say why not? When I took this job I said why not Iowa State? Why not winning? Why not bowl games? Why not sell outs? Why not national respect? Why not us? Why not here? Why not the cyclone family?

He came to ISU when I was there but we got there late and it was full. As we were walking back home we found him out back of Stephens having a smoke. We talked to him for a while with a crowd of people that couldn't get in either. Really nice guy.
