I'm not able to get the IM thing to work, so I'm not ignoring... When I reply, the message box I'm supposed to type in seems dead. I click on it and nothing happens. I can't type. Anyone else have this prob?
It's not an IM, it's a PM. I have no problems with the pop-up thing, yet you can click on "User CP" at the top of the page to get to your mail box, it's displayed on the left hand menu once you are on the "User CP" page.

Whatever it's called, I can get to it, I can hit reply, I can type I a subject, recipient, etc. but I can't type anything in the message itself. Same thing when I hit reply or quote buttons next to each message in the thread. The only way I can reply is by the fast reply button.

THAT was very nearly one of the greatest comebacks/upsets in school history. I enjoy the expression on the left-most spirit squad member. She appears to be giving birth.

And also, that was a touchdown.

If the photo caught the stands, you would have seen me in the first row - we were on the goal line for that game, front row, in that corner. I couldn't tell.

What I do think about though, is how the college rule is in regards to how far out the goal line goes.

In the NFL, the goal line is infinite. If a player leaves the field at the 2 yard line and lands out of bounds, past the goal line - it's a touchdown. According to an NFL game I watched last fall anyways.

So if that rule applies to college, it surely was a score because Wallace's feet were inbounds when he leapt for the chalk. If not, it still may have been or not. We'll never know.

Unless someone has a camera angle from directly above. Lets get some satellite archive images!

Yet another painful "if" in ISU history... Heck of a game, though.

That was the first game I watched as an ISU student. Coming to ISU, I was not a huge Iowa State football fan.....I followed ISU basketball, but not so much football...hell, I was not much of a college football fan at that point. I will never forget the energy in the dorms that night, it really was the game that made me love college football as much as I do right now. I still remember that particular play, and how you could hear things in every dorm room being thrown against the wall. It was quite the memory!

I'm pretty sure that the rule in place at that time was that if the ball crosses the plain of the endzone it is a touchdown. Even though Seneca himself didnt cross the plain, the ball did...Touchdown. If only there would have been booth review at that time. if only, if only... I was also in that endzone from where I was you could seen green between the white side line and his white shoe right before he dove for the endzone and got the ball inside the pilon.

From the television replay, it certainly appeared to be a touchdown.

All I know is I really liked how Mac handled it. "Just move on" was the quote he repeated when asked about that play.

Had it gone the other way, Bowden would still be crying about it today.

Dwelling on that play could have ruined our season, earlier than OU took the liberty of doing so.
