Have the captains been selected yet? If so who are they? If not, when will they be?
Guessing Meyer,Blythe,Bowen, and Berg ????

Sounds like, from what I've heard, that they're going to vote for captains for each separate game this year.

i like that method, gives everyone a chance to be a captain
| Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative. ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other." |

Maybe he has some leadership qualitites, but he could be a scholarship player at UNI maybe. He should not really be on the field a lot for a big 12 team. I am hoping ISU has some stronger and faster safeties than last season.

Berg is weird. He is a practice hero. In practice he's our best safety but last year he was bad. Really Bad.
Chizik said they will wait until fall to select captains.
| Some People see things as they are and say why? I dream things that never were and say why not? When I took this job I said why not Iowa State? Why not winning? Why not bowl games? Why not sell outs? Why not national respect? Why not us? Why not here? Why not the cyclone family? |

No just give it out to anybody or somebody that's been warming the bench for their whole college career.

what this does tho, is make everyone want to be a leader a little bit more

I believe in the above, establish team leaders for the entire year and name them captains.

ok i started thinking, if they do somthing like this i think it will be more like 1 Off 1 Def pernament captains, and then 1 O 1 D elected captain for each game..

You beat me to it, that's the only idea I like short of all permanent captains.
