Looks like we're still getting a good number of sales in. It will probably stay this way for the next two weeks or so, then slowly die off in May-June, then start picking up again as football season arrives. It would be absolutely amazing if we could keep this pace all summer long but I just don't see it happening. We will end up with a surprising number of tickets sold when all is said and done, IMO.
If we sell through those student tickets that puts us at just under 32,400 just over a week into April. It makes 35,000 start to seem very reasonable. Does anyone know if the leftover seats in the south endzone have been opened to the public yet or included in that total?
Either way, with a good marketing push at the end of the summer we could see a final tally that is very impressive. Perhaps the Iowa game strategy worked, perhaps excitement over the new coach, maybe the great home schedule, but no matter what I can't get enough of watching that counter go higher and higher every day.
