"New" New Uniform thread

Since for whatever reason I am unable to upload my latest uniforms on the old thread (some glitch, I think), I decided to start a new one...

I think these are going to be the ones I'm going to submit (although I'll probably submit more than one uniform). Like they said in the movie Drumline, "We're mixing your 'old school' with our new.'" They were originally created at niketeam, then I retouched in Illustrator (these have some options that niketeam doesn't offer). Personally, I'd like to see red helmet/red facemask or gold helmet/red facemask with either the current ISU Whirlybird or the Punching whirlybird.

I like the direction you are going. I really love the pants. I think the jerseys have some work left to do on them - not sure what. Almost like the stripes don't flow well enough.

Why don't you have gold trim on the home jerseys the way you do red trim on the aways? I think that'd look good.

Drumline was a rotten movie but I gave you positive rep points because those jerseys are ace. I wouldn't mind a gold helmet with those unis.

Very nice uni's. Great Job! I can't wait to buy a replica jersey already. I hope they do go with an old classic ISU logo on gold helmets in 08.

i really like the jerseys
i would like to see gold (yellow) helmets, red face masks, and the "punching" whirlybird (provided we have to stay with the "new-school" logos). The current logo on the helmets looks kinda cluttered with the ISU on top of it, plus the red-on-red just doesn't work for me.

Looks like you have a sharp design there, but I'd hate to see us go back to the shoulder stripes of the Walden era (also seen on LSU, Ole Miss, etc). Plus the classic shoulder stripes probably wouldn't ship from Nike with a more contemporary pant stripe pattern as shown.

An interesting aside - We bought those shoulder striped jerseys surplus and were used as our lacrosse jerseys for several years.

pants look good.. but i think the jerseys could use some work, they look sort of blocky.. need some flow to them.. id get rid of the collar plate and make it a line cut jersey since that is what all of the players use these days instead of the full sleeves, just my opinion though

a few i messed with... i went to the true "cardinal and gold for one" and sort of a more modern shoulder stripe..

simple answer - to match the stripe on the pants. if you look closely, I have gold piping accenting that "under arm" plate in both jerseys.
