Probably just to protect him, or protect the plays that his number is called on. I think the coaches already have an idea of what he can do, and wanted to test out other WRs.

yeah, pretty much what I was thinking (hoping) since he was dressed, I assume he isn't hurt

I'll order up another shot of sin, I'm running twice as hard into the wind, I'll hitch a ride when the next one comes in, fell off the wagon again...

He probably didn't play to protect anything that he may be having minor problems with, or like other have said, to limit how much we showed off of our offense. I would guess it's because he may have a minor injury and they are just taking precautions. If he was fine, I don't see why he couldn't have been in most of the plays.
| Chizik: "One thing that I’d encourage our fans… I want them to be the loudest stadium in the Big 12. I don’t care… I want Jack Trice stadium to be the loudest in the Big 12 and I think that creates homefield advantage.... I want to stress to everyone…I want this place to be juiced up. They bought 36,000 season tickets so there is a passion there…don’t hide it… let it out. I want there to be a passion in the stadium."

Guessing he tweaked something on that one or two plays he was in and didn't risk it further.

Yeah, there is no gain for him playing in the spring game if he's hurting a little. It'd be better for the guys fighting for depth chart positions.

Walters seemed to think he was minorly injured.. but dressed just to assure people that he wasnt going to miss anything.. What i am confused about, is when Chizik was asked about the spring game a couple weeks ago, he said it would be relentless, hard hitting, noone was going to hold back

sioux city urinal said today that he has some minor bumps and bruises but they are nothing that would have kept him out of a real game.

I sat right behind Blythe's Dad. Todd has a slight shoulder separation, but he could have played.
Also, Milan Moses has broken foot. Look for Milan to be a great contributor next year.
