Does Arnaud short-arm the football ?

I watched Arnad both with the naked eye and binoculars, and it looks like he short-arms his throwns. He can certainly throw the ball a long ways, but his accuracy wasn't very good either in warm-ups or in the "game." There are other college players that throw that way, but it is a small minority and none in the pros that I know of. Anyone else notice?

Re: Does Arnaud short-arm the football ?

From the throws I saw (just in the game), I thought Arnaud throws a good tight spiral. He actually has a better release than Meyer IMO. Meyer throws a little more sidearm 3/4 motion. For a RS Frosh Arnaud has a lot of upside.

Re: Does Arnaud short-arm the football ?

I thought Arnaud threw short and medium passes pretty darn well. His deep balls were way off. I am looking forward to seeing what Arnaud can do in the future.

Re: Does Arnaud short-arm the football ?

Arnaud seems to me like an exact replica of Meyer circa 2 years ago. The touch on the deep ball is one of those things that comes with more experience and I think he's farther along than Bret was at the same point. With some work Austen should get it down but it was never his strong point in high school.
