Now that Sean is officially a Cyclone, what is your guys reaction to this.
Something seems a bit unsettling about it, but I cant blame him for wanting to play basketball for coach Mac.

? where is it official?
| Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative. ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other." |

It is in the same article that announced that Clayton Vette is officially coming to Iowa State it is in the Register from Saturday, I think. Sean Haluska is a Cyclone!

We can always use a good walk on for practice. I certainly hope our incoming guards are good enough that we don't need him in games except for mop up time.

Hey I hope he turns out to be as good as his big brother. Great feather in our cap that he's here instead of Iowa.

He was here to finalize things with the coaches on Friday. It sounded like he was more impressive than they had expected. I'm guessing we'll get some minutes out of him. No problems with the guy at all.

How long before he transfers to Iowa? You know, it is every Iowan's dream to play for the Hawks....
According to the Hawks, anyway...

I hope he does great for us and enjoys his time, but it is a bit weird.

As a Carroll guy, I'm thrilled. Sean always seemed to be in Adam's shadow and really looks to try to break that by going to ISU. I wouldn't be surprised to see him getting some minutes next season. To me, he seems better than most walk-ons...

Anyone ever have a good experience with following your girlfriend to college? If they break up we might experience deja vu.

If they break up we might experience deja vu. Anyone who follows someone just to go to the same school they do is an idiot in the first place. If he came to ISU just because she's here, and they break up, I'll be the first to say "serves him right for not thinking about what's best for himself."

I think some of you should just get over the fact that Adam Haluska wanted to be a hawkeye...who cares....Sean is not as good as Adam is but will be a very good walk-on and should get some good minutes..
A better player than B. Jacobson is...the one and only thing Jacobson has on Sean is his very nice shot..look for Sean to be one of the Walk-ons to see some PT...
Is the Norman kid from I belive Las Vegas still here??

Is the Norman kid from I belive Las Vegas still here?? If in a very nice shot you mean hitting the SIDE of the backboard numerous times, then yeah, Jacobsen is better!
