    I was playing NCAA 07

So the spring game got me interested in football video games again. I was recruiting and not really paying attention to names. After I was done I realized I signed a RB named Matt Roth.

    I had to cut him.

Or you could have just edited the name. It is not like the players that you recruit in a video game really matter.

See, the way I look at it, I would have developed Matt Roth into a Heisman-caliber running back, a top 10 pick, and the leading running back for the defending champion Iowa State Cyclones. That trumps anything named Roth that came from EIU...

I'm with you on that one. I would have cut him twice...if that's possible.

Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.

ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other."

Re: I was playing NCAA 07

I was playing through my ISU dynasty, going through its 5th year when I was playing at Colorado. I swore I heard Nessler call CU's QB "Arnaud", so I checked the roster at halftime. Sure enough, Austin Arnaud was CU's stud QB (with a 95-ish rating, even!). At first, I thought it was a strange coincidence, but then I remembered that he transferred out of ISU because he was tired of playing second fiddle to the 5-star QB I had recruited after the first year. (hee hee )

I've had that name come up as well (as a LB i think) and i acted just as you did! Well done ol' chap!

Of course this is coming from a game that once gave me a 4 star kicker who was black, left-footed, with the first name ARNOLD.
