Last year's victim of the "Madden Curse" was Shaun Alexander, who dealt with a foot injury all season and finished with a career low 3.6 yards-per-carry. Others who've been cursed include Marshall Faulk ('03), Michael Vick ('04), Ray Lewis ('05), and Donovan McNabb ('06).


I feel bad for you, Vince.

If they offered it to Vince Young, you have to wonder how many guys they offered it to and got rejected. LT and Peyton Manning come to mind.

Umm, what? He received the Offensive Rookie of the Year award and led his team to a six game winning streak (which included beating Indy). Just b/c his passing numbers weren't fantastic doesn't mean he didn't make an impact.

Honestly, I am bummed because LT is ALWAYS the first pick in my fantasy drafts and I never get the first pick. Sadistically, I was hoping he get injured and have to sit out.....yes I am a bad person.

Yes he was a sucess for the titans, but look at the past madden covers.. Lined with people that were much more successful.. Vince Young will be a great NFL Qb dont get me wrong, but someone had to turn it down?

Hate to tell you this....but LT will get hurt this year....Obviously he turned it down because he was worried about the jinx. Guys that worry about getting hurt, get hurt. Vince Young won't get hurt, his team may or may not do well based on what management does. Young will do all he can...

On a side note, the Vikings should pick up Seneca Wallace. He took my Clones to the promise land (sort of), and he can do the same for them.
