White Sox! White Sox!
Go-Go White Sox!
Let's Go-Go-Go White Sox
We're with you all the way!
You're always in there fighting,
And you do your best.
We're glad to have you
Out here in the Middle West.
We're gonna root-root-root-root White Sox,
And cheer you on to victory.
When we're in the stands,
We'll make those rafters ring;
All through the season,
You will hear us sing.
Let's Go-Go-Go White Sox,
Chicago's proud of you!
A freakin' no-hitter baby!! Glad to be a Directv subscriber!! :biggrin9gp: :biggrin9gp: :biggrin9gp:
Maybe this will light the fire under their arses and get'em some more wins, go Sox!!
As long as Minnesota, Detroit, and Cleveland are still in the AL Central the White Sox won't be doing much of anything.
who was the pitcher?
Mark Buehrle...
...and the season is still very young, we're what, 13 games into the season?? Only time will tell where they'll place, but I can tell you this, the AL central is by far the best division in all of baseball. Besides KC, any team has a legitimate shot at winning it. I couldn't be more pumped for the season after tonight (which is saying something if anybody had watched the past three Sox games, yuck!!).

Mark Buehrle, you deserve it.
I was there tonight for this thing. Best game I've ever been too and I've been to a lot of great ones for the Sox. I was lucky enough to be there with my brother and a good friend and it was just electric. Mark is one of the best team guys ever and he is truly a fan favorite.
As a life long Sox fan, this was a night to remember. With everything that is going on in the world....sports has always and will always be a great diversion. This is why we love sports. Days like today and players like Mark Buerhle.
Congrats man on seeing a piece of history!!! Last year i saw Randy Johnson throw a no no into the 7th (i think, maybe late 6th) and the crowd was electric. It was at KC (terrible team i know) but it was so fun to watch!! I'm not a yankee fan by any means and only root for the royals because of the close proximity! I can't believe how cool it'd be to see your team throw a no hitter!!
I just watched the replay on Comcast Sports Net Chicago...and wow...unreal. Another thing about Mark is at his press conference he and Ozzie Guillen both were wearing VT hats. Just goes to show you that even in the biggest of moments, Mark realized that there is something bigger going on.
Classy guy. Again, while we'll never forget the tragedies of the world, we always have sports as a diversion.
I was also lucky to see it with my brother, which is huge for both of us. It's something to share with each other and our children for the rest of our lives. Hopefully one day, all of us Cyclone Fans will be able to tell our kids where we were when the Clones won the big one! Cause in sports...anything is possible!!!
Couldn't have happened to a better guy, and just two starts after he took a line drive off of his pitching arm.
