Hawkeyes at VEISHEA
So as further proof of the superiority of Iowa State (not that we need any more proof), I couldn't help but notice the very large number of Hawkeyes at VEISHEA this weekend... mostly at the concerts, and a lot of them completely wasted and fullfilling almost every stereo type you could make about hawkeyes
Point is, we throw such a *****'n party that the rest of the state comes out to party with us, because they've got nothing back home. I don't see Cyclones and Panthers making a regular trip to Iowa City every year... -
Re: Hawkeyes at VEISHEA
VEISHEA this year was kick ***!
The University of Iowa would never be able to pull something like this off. The Chris Cagle and Story of the Year concerts were sweet. Mike Jones is a punk.

The Chris Cagle concert was awesome. So was Saliva on Friday night.

Re: Hawkeyes at VEISHEA
Well, I'm not trying to start anything, but I can't tell you how many times I hear "Hey, let's go to Iowa City" when people are talking about partying.
That being said, it is an understatement to say that ISU throws an awesome party - and there is no way that any other in-state school would ever match it. VEISHEA was everything and more of what I expected it to be.
I had an awesome time. I'll try to post some videos of the Chris Cagle concert - I have a clip of where he went on that mini-rant and chewed whoever it was throwing full beer cans over the crowd.

It was a glorious weekend in Ames, and a blast for the last VEISHEA at People's Bar and Grill. -
Re: Hawkeyes at VEISHEA
I verbally assaulted a drunk kid wearing a Drew Tate jersey. He couldn't muster a response, so I'll call it a victory.

On a side note, Mike Jones blew.

I know all of my friends from MN and WI came to visit me for the party.

He asked for directions and I told him to screw off and he threatened me by saying he had a gun. Only a Iowa fan would bring a gun to a campus after what happened this week.

I won't lie, but if ANYBODY said that to me this week, they'd have to surgically remove my size 14 boot from his @ss.
