I wonder if Taylor is kicked off the team, will GMac sign another high school player? According to several sources, a 6-10 300lb plus player is interested in Iowa State, but we don't have an open scholarship. He might be a project, but a big guy. His name is Kem Newke.
Iowa State will not sign Neweke in the class of 2007.
I don't know if recruiting a 6'10" player would have anything to do with Taylor's status for next year.
If Taylor leaves, we could use a solid 2 guard, not another post player.
Look at the schools inerested in Nweke, that should answer the question about him being a B12 player right now. Hes definately a project.
Actually we still have a couple scholarships open, and we need to get a solid big man in 2008, not a project player like Nweke. I would be surprised if Taylor actually is dismissed though.

I never would have believed that Eduardo Najera would turn out to be a better pro than Fizer.
How about if we give the guy a football scholarship?
We could end up with a starting five very similar for next four years....do not expect much next year. We are back to square one IMO with the loss of the backcourt. Just like Will and Curtis early disappearance. Speaking of Will he is on the Pistons roster for tonight's TV game.
