Interesting. Anyone know much else about him? He's got the height (and apparently the weight after seeing the 2nd post), and he must have at least some decent skills. Is he someone we want to go after? How would he fit in to our roster?
You think he is looking to walk on? Thats about the only way I thing he would be on our roster. I bet he saw the writing on the wall after the great class Purdue put together this year.
"will likely look at nearby schools such as Northern Iowa and Big Ten schools Iowa State, Kansas State and Missouri"
what conference are we in?
I saw that too but it was written by a Minnesota site and talks about not being available to tranfer to a Big 10 school because of the transfer rule. The writer just made a mistake and knows the difference between the BIG 12 and the big 10. The writers that I can not stand are the ones that have no clue what they are writing.
GMac must not have been hard after him before...why would he now?
Just out of curiosity, anyone know if Arden is related to former cyclone Andrew "Big Skogs" Skoglund?Quote:
Vandervieren helped lead the Royals to a 30-1 mark and the Minnesota Class AAAA championship as a junior coming off the bench behind Arden Skoglund, who signed with Valparaiso.
Purdue seems to be having a heck of a time. This right on the heels of them accidentally giving a basketball scholarship to a band geek.
(yes, i know it was a hoax)
heres a link to the thread

Yea I believe Arden is the little brother of Andrew, going to Valpo, that is sweet, Andrew did play at Hopkins, so we might have an in with this kid if he is friends with Vandervieren

It says in his bio, brother of Andrew Skoglund, sweeeet, why did we miss out on this kid! lol
but yea Arden played in 24 games with 1.6 point and 1.1 rebounds, but yea that would be cool if we could maybe pick up this Vandervieren kid, but I still think we are in bigger need of another guard if anything over another post, already adding a guy like Vette
