What's happening w/ Adam Carper?

I believe Carper was lost for the year last fall because of a major knee injury. But I didn't see him on the spring 2 deeps and he wasn't mentioned at all. I think he's a quality player with some athletic ability, and along w/ Bowen and Banks the only LB w/ any experience. Is he still on the team, and if so, can he recover from the injury in time to be a factor this fall?

He didn't participate this spring due to his injury, but he's still on the team.

I've seen him around campus and he still has a limp. I've also heard that his knee may never be the same, and it's not a sure thing that he'll ever be back. Of course I hope he is able to recover for his own sake as it would be tough for his career to end that way.

It's a long road back for Adam. No one really expected him to contribute this spring.

Hope for the best for him. During the open practices I went to he was rehabbing like a madman. On an unrelated side note, I saw Matt Robertson walking down Welch during VEISHEA looking ripped as ever, probably near 250. I also hear he will be playing football at NW Missouri State next year.

i really think carper is more suited for safety. he doesnt have the size to be a great linebacker and was heavily recruited out of high school for that position. i think if he was healthy beating out berg would have been a good possibility of him under chizik

His knee must be keeping him from Finance 330 class as well, I have only seen him about 4 times. 3 of them were test days...

Oh yeah, Adam Carper is a great guy, I hope he is able to be a factor this fall, you know he wants to be on the field. As for Matt, I haven't seen him forever, he's another good guy who just made a bad mistake and I don't think people understand how much we missed him last year.

As for VEISHEA weekend, I chilled and drank with Scotty Stephenson a little bit and he is as HUGE as ever and he is ready to be a 2nd round draft pick in the NFL (and he is confident he should not drop below that.)

I also saw someone I haven't seen in person before: Jiri Hubalek. He was drinkin a budweiser and watchin' us idiots suck at beerspie. He sure has gotten a lot better at the english language from when I used to hear him talk. And dammit is he tall...I am 6'4" and still feel like I am starring at the ceiling around him.
