When does renovation (Phase I) to JTS begin? Will there be any changes for the '08 season? I'm definitely looking forward to the wider concourse but I can't remember if that was a phase 2 item or not.
When does renovation (Phase I) to JTS begin? Will there be any changes for the '08 season? I'm definitely looking forward to the wider concourse but I can't remember if that was a phase 2 item or not.
I belive the luxory sweets and West concourse will be addressed immediately following the 2007 season. East concourse & bowl are later.
The first part of the renovation to Jack Trice Stadium includes creation of 22 new suites and the expansion of two existing suites on the west side of the stadium – including the installation of operable windows in all of the current suites – widening the west side concourse and increasing the number of restrooms and concession stands, creating new and improved disabled seating sections on the west side and completely overhauling the club section on the east side. Construction on this $19.5 million renovation will begin the day after the completion of Iowa State’s 2007 home football season. The project will be completed by August of 2008. Funding of the project will come completely from the sale of stadium suites, club seats, increased ticket revenues and fundraising.
