Patrick can be annoying as well. Nature of the business, I suppose.

Umm, arms are used in soccer too. There is something called a 'throw in.' Goalkeepers use them too.

Worse than Jon Miller? Don't think so. Do not take Rome seriously. It's mostly sarcastic entertainment which I think is funny, however, his interviews are weak.

Dan and the Nasty Boy made for a good team. Though towards the end of Dibbs' time, Showkiller started to get too much on air time for my taste. I do like the current format with Olbermann though.

Thankfully for where I live, during Rome's time slot, I can choose from ESPN1530 in the Fox Cities, ESPN1070 out of Madison, Fox Sports 1250 out of Milwaukee, ESPN1000 out of Chicago, 670 the Score also out of Chicago or shudder, I could listen to Jim Rome on The Fan 107.5 out of Green Bay.

I may be trapped in Big10 country and forced to pay the high Wisconsin property taxes, but at least I have plenty of Sports radio to choose from.
