    Berryman waived

    Looks like Berryman is going to be tryin to get picked up by another team...I wonder if the new rules in regards to character problems had anything to do with this decision

    Think he asked for a cell phone and $4 too?

    I don't care how many people vouched that he was a good kid that made some bad choices, he had multiple "second chances" he blew so I don't feel sorry for him at all. Had he kept his act clean and stayed at ISU he might have been looking at being drafted the first day of the NFL draft some day. I kind of wish we'd never hear of him again.

    I'm not sure the character problems had anything to do with Jason's release...it was the Bengals that let him go!

    As soon as I heard about the league's new policy regarding fines for the team when players misbehave, I immediately thought BENGALS.... He has the talent if he can overcome his past. Overcoming his past will mean being Mr. Goodytwoshoes for quite a while and then some.

    I think it would seve all of our current players well (especially the better ones) to see this story... so they can see that if they **** up now, it will have consequences down the road. One would hope it'd make 'em think twice... though you never know

    How bad is it that the top two stories on KGAN tonight at 10 for sports were Berryman getting waived and our academic problems with hoops...not a good day in the news for ISU...

    and as I type this...story #3 is about C-Mac...wow...
