Hello,

I am the process of decorating an ISU room/den. Anyone know of a a good source for ISU pictures, wall hangings, etc.

I bought a picture from Walden Photo on Main street and framed it myself. I also found a nice print of JTS online (RickAnderson.com) and framed that myself. Hope it helps you some.

Get a Fathead if they are available. Need an old Barney ooga horn to also remember the old days. Think DLP overhead projector.

I used the Home Depot Officially licensed ISU team colors in my office, to go along with all my other Cyclone periphenalia.The top half of the walls are gold/yellow and the bottom is cardinal. I added an 8 inch blue stripe in the middle since all of our ISU stuff has a lil blue in it. Someday i may switch it to true gold. It turned out good. Its not yellow, but its not gold. Id post a picture, but imageshack wont let me right now for some reason.

Just found this site, Wallhogs, looks like you can upload your own pictures and they create poster/ prints for you.. Might be cool to upload your favorite Jack Trice picture or still shot.

You can go to most sporting stores at malls and stuff and find ISU flags to hang from the wall. I got an ISU room in my house with 2 hanging flags, autographed and framed "Beat Iowa Again" shirt by Marcus Fizer, a Cyclone football, and a couple other pretty cool things. I wouldn't mind getting a framed Jack Trice Stadium picture once all the renovations and additions are complete. Does anybody know when the new football posters will come out at all? I usually like to hang one of those up in my room also.

I wanna see some pics of these Cyclone Rooms... I am in the process of doing mine, finishing the basement. Of course mine will be very Cyclone Baseball dominated but I keep grabbing more and more things here and there to fill it up... Its making it hard to work down there with all the stuff in the way... The crown jewel is the large 5x5 Cyclone Baseball sign that used to be in the locker room...

New football posters were out at the spring game and are available now. Chizik on them talking to the players and the theme this year is Hit it Hard.

HyVee in Ames (if you can get to it) has some really good pictures. I got the one showing the first year of ISU football against Iowa when we were called Ames College. The game looks to be played on central campus. I also got a good poster of JTS from the Iowa game in '05. Other than the '04 game against Nebraska picture, this is the best JTS print I could find as the stadium is actually full unlike most of the old posters where half was empty. If anyone knows of a good poster showing the inside of a packed Hilton, I would like to know because that is what I am looking for next.
