Pretty sure that was the Nationals, Major League Baseball's answer to Brock Jacobson.

I will admit that the win streak has not come against the most impressive teams in the league, but a win is a win none the less. Besides, last year these probably would have been losses, and by getting the last win, it puts only the Cubs and Brewers ahead of .500 in their division. Again, not the most impressive division, but if they get on top, it puts them in the playoffs.

by far playing our best baseball of the year and we have the Pirates again next week, so a chance to keep this up. Then we go to Philly for a 3 game series and then to New York for a 4 game series against the mets.

At the end of the year the total number of Ws is what gets you were you need to go. Sure it was the Nats, and we needed to and we did beat them.

Seems like a hundred years since the real Cubs won a World Series. And have we ever won the Big Eight/12? Something in common.

Nice to see the White Sox appearing to find some offense. I guess the Angels fans never ever want AJ to come back.

It seems there is a thread started for every Cubs win... necessary? I assume it's this type of stuff that makes being a Cubs fan so hard for you guys. You can't win the World Series in April and May.
