Spiderman 3
Ok, so this movie has already raked in 382million worldwide. First off I would like to say I picked the wrong career =). My wife and I liked this movie alot. I have really enjoyed the series. But then again I have always loved spiderman, ever since I was a little kid. I have the pictures of a spiderman tv tray when I was 2 to prove it. ha ha. Have you guys seen it? Did you like it?

Re: Spiderman 3
I heard in the new one he cries. I really don't think I can handle a superhero that cries. I loved the first two but come on. Do you think superman would cry. How about the wonder twins? They would not cry. Spidy needs to sack up. He is like the Dick Vermeil of super hero's.

Re: Spiderman 3
Wow me and you had to have seen different movies. I went to the Midnight showing on opening day and thought the movie couldnt have been more lame. Tears, cheesy acting, and don't get me started on the sandman!!
Now I am not a big comic guy, and in fact I have never read one, but I did enjoy the first 2 movies. The third one however was as bad/worse than Rocky 5 in my opinion. The only thing going for the movie was the visual effects. Just my 2 cents

Re: Spiderman 3
My sister said it was a fun movie to see, although it was cheesy in the comic book sense. I still have yet to see it, however...

Re: Spiderman 3
I thought it was as good as I had hoped, enjoyed it as did my kids. Many more light moments than the others and well done.
The one thing they need to quit doing is using Gross $$ to rank the all-time movies. Whatever happened to ranking ***** in seats (ticket sales)??? Makes ZERO sense to compare Gross $$ from different eras. Movie tickets weren't $10-$12 in the cities 15 years ago.
Until they do that, none of these record breaking announcements mean diddly.

Re: Spiderman 3
I haven't seen it yet, but I've heard Spidy really needs to realize he's got a set in this movie. It kinda bums me out, because that's something I liked about Spider-Man; he's a regular guy that just guts out the tough times.

Re: Spiderman 3
I understand what you are saying about the crying. Its weird, but they are going for an emotional edge Im sure. To show hes human more than anything. The movie was over the top, but it is very much like the comic. I think director Sam Raimi is worn out and that may have shown a little in the movie. I would be surprised if there was a 4th. I still liked it though!

If you remember in Superman: The Movie, Supes gets upset when an earthquake causes the ground to swallow Lois. He discovered her just after it happened. Good thing he can turn back time by reversing the earth's rotation. I guess the effects that this would have on earth would be minimal.
In Superman II he gives up his powers so that he can be with Lois. I never understood that. First, his powers are not magical. He gets them from the yellow sun. Secondly, why would anybody give soemthing up for Margot Kidder? Seriously, wasn't there a more attractive actress available?

I still liked it though! I saw something yesterday on either newsarama.com or aintitcool.com that there is a fourth planned. Rumor had it that the villians would be Carnage and The Lizard. The Lizard has been set up for two films now. It may have been in the third, I haven't seen it yet.
Carnage makes sense since he's an "offspring" of Venom.

Check out the Family Guy for that.

Re: Spiderman 3
those are two very dark characters. I would almost wonder how they would present them without an R rating. I would hope to God that they didnt try to make this movie with a new director and new spiderman. i hate when they change out actors for sure. Directors sometimes are ok, like the Harry Potter series. Which by the way looks awesome. Saw that preview before SM3.

Re: Spiderman 3
It sounds like Raimi is in for a fourth. The others haven't been confirmed.
If he's in, it sounds like the others will follow.
Hoepfully, Gwen Stacey will play more of a role. I would have like to have seen her first since she was such a major portion of his life. Actually, she still is. I'm not sure why they felt the need to bring MJ in first. It's opposite of the way it's always been.
Another rumor is that Black Cat will be in the next one. The site I got it from said that the source they had was the same one that verified the rumor of Venom before it have been announced. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Re: Spiderman 3
I enjoyed Spiderman 3, but not as much as the first two. Peter Parker dancing.....could have done without that. I am still looking forward to Spiderman 4, 5, 6, 7, etc.
Loved the trailers before the movie Harry Potter looks awesome.

Re: Spiderman 3
I guess Sam and the writers took liberties changing things here and there from the comics. Not sure why, but it didnt really matter too much. I was surprised to see how the symbiote (venom) got to earth in this one. I thought JJJ's son the astronaut brought it back from space. And since they already had shown him in the second movie, was surprised they didnt continue from there.
