Free T-Shirt to First 1000 Students

I got an email from the athletic department today that I was one of the first 1,000 students to buy student season tickets and would get the free Game Day T-Shirt. A link within the email took you to a page at Cyclones.com to enter size and contact information. T-Shirts will be available for pickup in late August at the Student Pep Rally.

Anyone else here lucky enough to be the first 1,000?

Why not give a free t-shirt to everyone who buys student season tickets? Then maybe everyone wears them on gameday? I know, this is quite the complicated idea I'm suggesting.

I'm going to enjoy wearing my new T-shirt.

I ordered my tickets within an hour or two of them going on sale, so I got one too.

I'd give a free t-shirt to the first 25 non-Cyclone alley students who buy basketball season tickets and then promise to actually come to games once in a while. I'd end up holding the bag on 17 t-shirts.

Har har. Speaking of that, when do BB season tickets go on sale? I'm even considering buying women's tickets this year- that team is friggin' awesome, and it'll be nice to go to some games that aren't nailbiting wins that go down to the last seconds of the game...

I was as well, except the form I had to fill out for it didn't work.

Why just limit it to the students? Why don't you do the same thing for the parquet seats? Oh, probably because the students are the bane of every sporting event, I forgot. :rolleyes5cz:

Well on the schedule there is again a cardinal and golden rules games so they will be giving t-shirts later to the entire student section.

Did you graduate already Orny? I you have, then I think Basketball tickets go on sale sometime this summer. If not, then you can get them already.

I was one of the lucky 1000, buying tickets for my friend's GF who just graduated...I'm in the band, so it's not like I was gonna use the tickets :wink0st:

I got mine too.

So I'm in the cool club as well.

Do you have a link to this schedule? The schedule I'm looking at on Cyclones.com does not show any Cardinal and Golden Rules Days yet.

The posters have both days marked. The Cardinal Rules game is listed as the 9/8 UNI game, and the Golden Rules game is marked as the 10/13 Texas game (also family weekend)

Sorry, I just saw that movie. Good flick. And yes, they are marked on the schedule. Go to cyclones.com, and click on the promotions link, then football, and it should show you the Cardinal and Golden Rules promotions.
