I was just responding to the way you answered the question. If another poster asks you who YOU think we have the best chance of getting, I see absolutely no harm in giving your opinion. Everybody out there knows who we are recruiting. Purdue, Indiana, etc know we are going after Zeller. I thought your answer was a tad weak and was a way to dance around the question asked.

I totally disagree with you. You have no idea what you are talking about. Sure, everyone knows ISU is after Zeller, Breshers, Crittle, etc.

Do you think Pittsburgh or Indiana really thought ISU had any chance of landing Brackins?

Who knew we were after Garrett last year? Did you? BTW, who first reported Garrett's committment on this site before it appeared on CR, CN or on the DM Rag's site?

Now that the news of ISU's interest in Gibbs has surfaced, look how many schools are taking notice of him.

I will post things that I hear when it is appropriate to post them. In the meanwhile, I suggest CF users direct their recruiting questions to you! I hope your answers aren't a "tad weak".

Haha this is great! First of buddy I have a friend who is in the basketball program as I graduated with the guy. I am not going to sit here and try and stick my chest out about who knows more than who. I will just tell you that I know what is going on in the program.

Know to answer your question. Did Pitt and Indiana think we had a chance at Brackins? Umm yeah! I am sure that when they were recruting him and having conversations with him he mentioned who else was recruiting him. Coaches know who their competition is. If they didn't, they would not be very good recruiters.

Did I know we were after Garrett last year? YES!! He was the first guy Gmac went to visit when he got the job and it was on message boards that he went up to Wisconsin to visit him. We heard this up to 3 weeks before he verballed.

Now I am not going to pretend to know everything about who we are or aren't recruiting, all I am saying is it doesn't making a difference at all if you post who YOU THINK we have a decent chance at getting. That is not going to make Iowa recruit the kid any harder. They don't come over to CF to see who you think we could get.

Now I am going to go back to my 9-5 job and forget about this little altercation with you psychedclone

As you can see, I pretty much live on message boards, and I had no idea we were recruiting Garrett or Staiger last year. I was completely surprised by both commitments. If you don't like how Psyched handles his business, fine. It's how he wants to do it and I've never seen any inkling of him "sticking his chest out" about knowing stuff. If you've got all the contacts, let us know what you think instead of badgering a reputable poster, that will get you absolutely nowhere.

I'm sorry if I made you misunderstand me. I didn't mean that he was sticking his chest out at me. I was just saying that I didn't want it to turn it into that. I am sure that he has a lot of knowledge on ISU and the program, I just don't see whats wrong with telling people who he thinks we have a decent chance in getting. You can't convince me there is any harm in that.

I wasn't calling him out as a person as much as his reply to a previous poster. He obviously felt as if I was attacking him in some way im guessing, since he did tell me to go to my EIU dorm room. I don't see where you thought from my first 2 posts where I was badgering him?
