Would be a very solid pickup to replace hubalek. And give Brackins some help down low. Hes got good size, and big bodied at 6'11 255. Also 79th ranked player on scout.com...

Wow, we are in the top _ for a lot of big guys. We should be able to get one of them.
I don't mean to knock the guy... but that 6'11" seems to come from a lot of neck...

At least he can look over his opponent.
notice st louis is on the list.. might as well get used to that..
Why should we get used to Saint Louis?
What Huggins did for KSU. Yeah. Thats what RM will do for tha Lou.
He's not near the same level of recruiter that Huggins is. Or maybe he is, but he isn't willing to pay as much:rolleyes5cz: ...Andre Miller, Hanno Mattola, Keith Van Horn and Andrew Bogut weren't highly sought after guys out of high school. He picks his kind of guys and sticks with them, and sometimes they're rated in the top 100. I don't think it'll be a trend to have huge, multiple 4- and 5-star recruiting classes at St. Louis though.
Here's my prediction: If Majerus stays healthy, St. Louis in 4 years will finish highter in the rankings, win more games, and go further in the NCAA than Iowa U. Kids in St.L, Missouri and Illinois will listen when Big Rick speaks, partly because of what he did at Utah, and partly because of what he has done at ESPN. He has far more creditibility than Lavin, Fraschella(sp), Vitale or Lickliter.
Where do we really stand with Thompson? I have to admit getting Gibbs and Thompson to round out the 2008 class is kind of my dream class. With Jiri graduating, I think we need a true Center with some beef on him and Thompson fits that bill.
